Marybeth,…. I made 2 of those gliter eggs for my home and they turned out so impressive as part of my Easter decor, that I made 1 for my Sister and one for my good friend. No one could believe they were made by me because they looked like they were bought at a store. Tracy your instructions in the video was one of the first projects I made when I discoverd you. Then came the food recipies. Now I am thinking of taking my old outdoor bench and slammin it up with some of your creative influences. That’s what those doors from yesterday’s blog did for me!

Books are my jewels. I have most of Tracy’s books in my collection already, but I would be happy to share them with others in anticipation of signed copies. Sigh . . . The fun begins.

Oh Tracy, how wonderful!!!!! I would absolutely love to have these!!!! the ones that I already have I would give away…..I have very special people in mind,and there are a couple I don’t have yet and need to get…..I need to complete my collection!!!!!I must tell all of you that yesterday My Mom {SPARKEL}gave me these old bunnies she used to display in her house she found them tucked away in her attic, they are soft material stuffed bunny dolls are dressed in Waverly fabrics! They truly are adorable and still in perfect condition, I took them with love, they are now scattered about our living room in our basement where we will be having Easter! Such fun, just wanted to share, today I may play some more and add the finishing touches….I’d rather be done early and get to enjoy it for a while. I received that sweet little book on top back in 2002 as a gift from a precious friend in Kentucky. It is the topper on a stack of beautiful books in my guest bedroom for company to enjoy! I have referred to it many times over the years for inspiration on a myriad of art projects and reread her handwritten message inscribed inside the tiny front cover. She and I spoke just last month after losing touch for a couple of years, it would be full circle for me to send her one just like mine with a special message inside her’s!! xoxoxo

Several months ago, a dear sweetheart of a lady that I’d recently met gave me a copy of “Dreams from Home” ~ She told me that it reminded her of me because of some art/decorating projects I’d been working on for a small non-profit theater that we both volunteer for, and thought that I should have it. Of course, I was infatuated with it at first sight. Then I realized… my everyday dishes and accessories that I’d bought a few years earlier (and, of course, LOVE) are Tracy Porter design (Claret). I would be so grateful to have more books by Tracy to add to my library.

Your books truly are works of art. I have only one (that needs to be FIXED!) but I take it out often for inspiration and for the beauty.

I count each of you as a blessing!…So good to be here after a tough week, struggling with a broken heart, you know how it is…when a child of yours has a broken heart, you have a broken heart..even when your son is 27!…but the love and positive energy here is contagious… and so real…genuinely, coming back to “our” blcg is lifting me up, the sun is breaking through the clouds, this too shall pass…it’s Friday!!!…gonna get the paint brushes out and go craaazzzyyyy…haven’t decided yet…watercolor? oil? or the ceiling I’ve been dreaming of? then there’s the door! Wow, Tracy, I too would love the beautiful set of books! I must admit, I do not own one of your books yet. I have clothing, jewelry, dish ware and bedding – and would love to see more bedding and pillows in the future, I bought the Skylard duvet, but much to my dismay, all of the pillows were sold out. I originally wanted the Rosewood bedding but came to the party too late,…that is when I started following you and your terrific company. I could sit quietly and soak up all of the goodness offered in your books, and live the inspiration! It has been a busy, long and sad week, we lost a friend to a skiing accident. My heart is broken for his family, but we must all carry on…

Anyways I finally got around—got bit by spring fever energy–to finding my TP journal that is copywrighted 1999-I think we got it–would Green Lake be by Princeton?-we were staying at the Heidal house.

It has my favorites:blue butterflies and;what I think are wild irises,maybe some sort of pastelly allium bulb and sparkly little acorn branches.even with a _firefly.? Sometype of romantic shakespeare writings are faintly expressed on the covers. I kept a journal in it for from 2000-2007-interesting American years don’t you think/-And a long time for me.

Durls! Just got back to the room after spending 3 hours at the TP store – Robyn said we might have set a record! First off, they are the sweetest people, really (Robyn, George, Tracy AND Gus)! Tracy came down to the store to meet us and she brought Gus along. He and my daughter Samantha are the same age and they played together all over the store – he is such a cutie! Tracy and Robyn gave us all sorts of ideas for things to do in the area while we are here this week. Samantha monopolized my camera so I didn’t get to get many pictures of the store – I’ll have to do that tomorrow when we go back – and I’ll also see if George and Robyn will let me get a picture with them (I can’t believe I didn’t get one today!)! Well, I was so overwhelmed (in a good way) with all the beauty in the store that I’m surprised I got anything done that I wanted to do! For example, besides not getting the pictures for you, Valery, I gave George a hug from Cameo instead of giving Tracy a hug from Fanci! Well, I did give/get 3 hugs from Tracy, so Fanci, I am willing to give one of them to you! And Valery, I promise I will get those pictures for you tomorrow and email the to you tomorrow night! Cameo, I can see why you loved the countertop – so unique and beautiful! I did purchase some clothes and shoes….definitely going to get more every day I’m here…..might have to take George up on his offer to ship things to my house….didn’t want to today because I just want to have them here in the room with me tonight (Fashion Show!)!
