Speaking of Morocco

1_1-12-11.jpg

OK, so It’s clear that I am awfully inspired by lovely pattern from around the world. Add to that a few scrumptious layers of jewelry, some old ratty rolled up jeans…a girls best pair of cowboys…..and a cool cardi. Now, that’s my kind of outfit. Casual…..happy, easy…..and eclectically me. If my hair is in the “cover me” mode ( read, no shower)….then a snappy little ribbon with some junk on it suit me fine.

Lustre Sleeveless Tunic

I do like my sleeveless tops…..If your arms are flying around at the rate mine are ( you know I cannot speak if I don’t wave my arms…..blame that on my European background) then this kind of shirt just works…..plus I really don’t like stuff bunching up on me…..makes sense right?

3_1-12-11.jpg

Shades of Colour Cardigan

Detail, texture, pattern and some vintage vibe. Knuckle biters indeed. I am on a never ending scavenger hunt for goodness…..rolling over every mossy stone that crosses my path.

Turkish Bohemia Gypsy Earrings

Almost too good for words….and “ birds” to boot!

Cheers & Love!

Just call me Morrocain Baby…….(I adore this outfit) I can see me in it…..and T….no moss gathers on my stones…..I skip them in the water….and play jacks in the air with them…..thinking last night in all the mix that is going on….I anticipate coming to work and reading your words….watching you as you grow…..you are my moss…..and its great….God spoke to me last night as he always does….and even tho their are many things going on…he has given me a clear head and energy….I helped Wendy (step-daughter) move most of her things in….last night…she is down in the back…and her new job is not going well……I wonder in this great universe when God will heal and help her……give her hope and direction….its time….it just time…..so on a good note….

This is a cool outfit, Tracy, and cool outfits is what we need here in hot TX. I love the tunic, however, I am aging, things are starting to sag and I need SLEEVES down a little above the elbow to cover my arms. Yes, I could cover up with a duster, but here it is just too hot for extra layers, unless you hang out in air conditioned places a lot. You have several things I would love to have, but without sleeves! There is also one white blouse that caught my eye, but it is see-through! Here it is either very hot or cold, not much in-between. Sweaters last forever, but tunics for the hot summer months wont last too long, too much laundering!

Valery, did you ever see the movie, SHALL WE DANCE-
the Japanese version- film?

We have a fire going during the day, I feel like a pioneer woman gathering wood all day long! I am not used to cold weather anymore.

Gorgeous and FUN!!! Love the Morroccan style, TRACY!! I LOVE how the tunic is longer in the back like that! and love the mix of pattern as well. Gorgeous earrings.

CAMEOXOX-thanks for your kind words, and I must agree with you CAMEO….a silver teapot would be perfect on your desk, TRACY!! That would be amazing!!! LOVE it!!! perhaps a pair of Wellies in a corner, or riding boots with a crop. Just to top off the touch of Britain. I do love your sense of eclectic, TRACY-of being able to visit the world in your room, or clothing, or furniture….a touch of ‘around the world.’ “Layers, and patterns…” makes me swoon!

G’day everyone!! and geez, now I want a “spot of tea.” ;-)

Still snowing!

XO JennyKY

The outfit is real nice tracy. I am in awe of the headband scarf, it is so adoring of your blond highlights and feminine features. And the opulent dresser adorns your stage. Catwalk darling right to the soiree.

Valery, Before Christmas I discovered this beautiful song “Les Cloches du Hameau” sung by Celine Dion. I played it over and over again. Everybody who visited us during the holidays had to dance with me to this melody. Little kids, friends, neighbors, babies (on my arm) etc. Oh dear, I love to dance, if I tell you all the places I have been dancing, you wouldn’t believe me and I am not talking about two- stepping across Texas.

Hello All!

Tracy – I love this outfit – is on my list…….

We are having an honest-to-god blizzard here – took me an hour to get home by car – could only see 10 feet in front of me on the road! Stressful – but now I am having a wee spot of wine and a little T&Durls read and all is well with my world…..

Siegi – I love to dance, too! I am not familiar with the song, but will look it up!

Valery – thanks for the Mackenzie-Childs link – have never been there!

That top photo is perfection! It captures the feeling of how I would LOVE to look & feel every single day! I am BUMMED BEYOND WORDS the Gilded Glories Tunic is sold out in small and has been for quite some time. I keep checking back hoping a return comes in! Man oh man, I should have bought it when I first went crazy over it. My tragic loss! : ( I’m still desperately in love with it… Perhaps something similar will appear in the coming months? I know each piece is unique, though — never the same Tracy twice. Love that. I’ll be watching… Happy belated New Year’s everyone!
